I finished a course in Natural History of the Sonoran Desert at Pima College West, Tucson, AZ (Prof. Brad Fiero, inst.). Have completed a tracking certification and have been conducting tracking transects for the Sky Island Alliance in S.E. AZ for ten years. Have performed a great deal of data collection of a variety of focal species.
Have been observing birds for over 30 years. Have a large collection of reference books on all types of flora/fauna of the Western States and into Northern Mexico & Baja Ca. Continue to participate in identification and count projects for the Tucson Audubon Society and love to be in the field anytime there is something wild and new to observe and document. Have a large collection of photos from various adventures both in the US and Mexico. Have many other on going interests including sea kayaking, hiking, beer brewing, graphic art, music and living green via solar panels & using large rain water collection tanks.
