I reside in Palm Beach County here in Southeast Florida in what seems like the capital of HOT and development. There are many natural areas around including in neighboring counties that I have yet to visit. I am a veteran. I have been in Florida since 1986. I am married. My wife loves butterflies, just not where they live. I am a weekend hiker (work F/T) out looking for animals in natural areas. I have my favorite places that I do my best to get back to every so often, but the good news is there are so many preserves, parks, and natural areas I have yet to visit. Going to a new place always heightens my sense of adventure. I most enjoy seeing how many animal species I can photograph at a place and also helping get a new place on the map.
