One plant in an area that usually has one or more specimens growing each year
Several scattered along the road!
This is the only one I could find next to the road. Almost 6’ tall
There are about 50 of these all downstream from the tamarisk we just posted, but these leaves look different. Are they baby tamarisk? WE are very familiar with plants in these badlands and have never seen this before.
Mason Draw Badlands
This is in Byrd Draw near Dubois. Taken last summer, you can plainly see the dividing line between the dead cheat grass in the foreground and the live real grass beyond. This is major Big Horn territory. The land is owned by M. Rediker.
