The Dirty Dozen competition

Although the 2016 competition has now closed, we're still on the lookout for Dirty Dozen observations.

Thanks to all who took part by uploading observations leading up to and during Conservation Week. Congratulations to those who have been randomly selected as spot prize winners.

I am wondering why native species such as Veronica, Leptecophylla juniperina, Pittosporum tenuifolium, and the Tetragonia species are getting tagged as dirty dozen observations? Someone really needs to sort out the filters for this project, as they are not currently working correctly. Members of the public are getting the wrong message about some species, such as Tetragonia tetragonoides, which is At Risk- Naturally Uncommon, and is most certainly not a weed in this country.

I do not know how these additional species got added to the Check List for this project at https://inaturalist.nz/lists/421274-The-Dirty-Dozens-Check-List?rank=species ! A bug? Someone accidentally adding them somehow? The stray species have now been removed as well as their corresponding observations within the DD project so everything is OK again. Thanks for spotting this so promptly. If this reoccurs, I can try to lock down the project rules from "must be in list" (which should have been OK) to add individual rules for must be in each taxon.
