More information regarding monarch butterfly sightings in Utah in all life stages is needed. Estimates of monarch decline are alarming. The aim of this project is to generate more information on monarchs in Utah to help the Western Alliance of Fish and Wildlife Agencies (WAFWA) craft the best and most informed conservation strategy for the western monarch population. Specific observation questions are hoped to answer some unknowns regarding where (and to what degree) monarchs are reproducing in Utah and the type and condition of their habitat. menos ↑
