The goal of this project is to develop a comprehensive list of California Native Plants present in the Middle Fork Mokelumne River watershed, in order to produce a guide for CNPS and other hikers and naturalists, and to increase the awareness of residents about the local flora.

Emphasis will be on plants growing wild along the Middle Fork flume (ditch) trail and other open or public spaces.

This list is open to all contributors, but with one caveat: Please do not add cultivated (landscape) plants to this list, even if they are California Natives. Keep it wild. If you don't know what it is, add your observation, and we will try to identify it. Including coordinates and all fields, including comments, would be very helpful in such a situation. Photographs are critical to this effort.

One more note, adding mushrooms, lichens, fungi, etc. is encouraged, if native and wild. Wildlife is allowed, but we would prefer you create a list similar to this with an emphasis on fauna should you desire to add copious numbers of fauna observations. Thanks! menos ↑
