EcoBlitzing at Linwood!

We've had a great day today with about 100 mostly year 9 students at Linwood College finding all sorts of creatures. In the morning we had modules looking for plants, fungi, vertebrates, and invertebrates, and after that we surveyed eight 10 m by 10 m plots for mammals, birds, invertebrates, plants and fungi. Then we came back to the lab to sort pan traps and pitfall traps for invertebrates.

We'll update on the most important finds soon. Right now we're having a great time swimming in observations.
