Edmonton and Area Plants and Pollinators

Hi everyone, welcome to the Edmonton and Area Plants and Pollinators Project. Inspired by a similar project run by Justine Doll in Calgary, I wanted to learn more about our pollinators with my son, while also gathering needed information about the plant species they rely on for their foodsource (and vice versa!)

Please feel free to contribute any plant+pollinator interactions to this page. Hopefully after a field season of data, I can run some analysis modelled after Justine's work and share with anyone interested in learning from this citizen science project.

Lastly - I hope to organize and repost plant+pollinator walks around Edmonton this summer. Stay tuned to the Alberta Native Plant Council social media feeds for more information.
