Tracking bird window collisions on UVM's campus. This includes stunned/downed birds as well as fatalities. To include your observations in this project, simply add yourself as a member and then upload any photos of the dead/stunned/injured birds you find on campus. Under projects, select the Downed Birds of UVM as a project you would like to add your observation to and ensure that you answer whether or not your bird was likely downed by a window collision in the "Window Collision" observation field. Optional, but extremely helpful information to include would be a photo of the window that the bird likely collided with along with a few quick comments about which building the bird was found by and what the direction/aspect of the windows were.

Your contributions to this project will help the Audubon UVM campus chapter and Audubon Vermont collect valuable data in regards to which windows are particularly problematic for birds and which windows are in greatest need of preventative measures. menos ↑
