There isn't a catch-all project just to collect the photos and recordings that amateurs are taking in the Caribbean. This makes IDs difficult after the initial posting since the content rotates off, which happens easily due to the amount of material being posted. Hence, we've created this group to try to help each other ID what we've seen and heard.

Pro-tips, as I learn them:

• Edit your images before posting a new observation. It will be much easier for people to see when they are new and more likely to be observed.
• A camera with good optical zoom functionality makes photos much better.
• Got an underwater capable Android cell phone? Apps like ProCapture can be configured to take a photo when a volume button is pressed. If your screen doesn't work underwater this works really well.
