Saw two otters upstream from my house in deeper water, diving repeatedly for about 15 minutes. One was much larger than the other and I am guessing it was a mother teaching her young how to fish.

Walking down peas eddy road towards home with Rani, coming up the hill near Bruce Segur's house, a red fox emerged from the brush on the river side. The color appeared light brown or tan at a distance of about 100 feet. The white tipped tail was clearly visible. The fox gave us a long stare and then began trotting up the hill away from us. It continued on the road for approximately 300 feet before disappearing down the river slope again.
