Used low wall to reduce proximity from predators (dogs.) Was eating fruit from a palm tree (fleshy orange orb the size of a globe grape).

Found chowing down on cabbage.

Young male within a few hours of emerging from chrysalis. Wings still bent. Transferred to milkweed plant.

Found on a citrus plant (variegated pink Eureka lemon).

A happy family of about 10 monarch butterfly caterpillars choosing down on non-native milkweed.

Taking a stroll on the superhighway on some telephone wires about 20 feet outside the garden.

Found near fennel plant. Snail possibly estivating? A few broken snail shells were also present.

Ants feasting on unidentified snail remnants. Found in mulch at the base of a dwarf variegated lemon tree.

Tiny live snail crawling on the underside of a dwarf variegated pink lemon tree leaf, about 2 feet off the ground. Was no larger than a dime.

Found under plastic pipe panel in garden. Lots of silvered snail trails. One empty garden snail shell partially buried in the mulch.

Snail shell found under pot. No one in residence, so far as I could tell. Attached to a straw wrapper.

At the Armstrong Garden Center in Westchester.

Goose of some sort. 20+ individuals lounging and munching in the park.
