This looked like a lizard with no legs, but didn't seem like the species of glass lizards we have locally. Spotted in rustic Canyon, after the dam. Also saw a a striped racer in this area, but could not get a pic.

Was wiggling abdomen in the DG (see small home to the left of the grasshopper). Checked with entomology staff cause it was wiggling its abdomen in the DG, it was probably laying eggs. There were a total of three spots in the area where it looked like eggs were laid.

Appeared to be in the process of pupating - this is a screen grab from a short video I took. It was wiggling back and forth, and you can see the molt of the larva near it's anchor point on the leaf.

Still a juvenile, has stripes like a Neoscoan, but broad bumps on carapace like an Araneus. Looked like she was eating some silk.

Looks like its a fly, only one easy to see pair of wings and what may be haltares under the wings.
