Not really sure what this is. My friend thought it was klamath weed or goldwire but i'm not sure. Found in the middle of chaparral. No other plants like it near by.

Found under board in a hole a used to be. Mom not there. A family of newts also taking shelter there. About 15 baby newts and one mom newt. Surrounded by penny royal and oaks on the edge of the pound.

Under rock, on hill, in shade. In an oak woodland. My guess is it was built my some sort of insect. Each chamber was about 1/4 of an inch.

This lizard was under a dry rock near a pond. It was near a pond in a grassland. It was missing its tail. There were no tics on it. Penny royal and thistle were growing near by.

Descripción

This newt was swimming in a large puddle in a dry creek bed. The pool was about 5.5 feet in diameter and had leaves and grass floating in it. It was about .5 feet deep. It was 4-5 inches long.

It was under a rock in a wooded area with Bay Laurel, Madrone, oak, and Douglas Fir. It was alone. I'm guessing that it was young because it was small.
