These are small dandylion looking flowers. They have lomg, tall brown stems and they appear to be decaying. The petals are oval shaped and do not overlap eachother. The flower itself compared to the stem is very small. The whole flower is yellow, the only difference is the shade of yellow. The middle is brownish-yellow.

This is an acorn it is dark brown on the bottom and light brown on the top. It was in the grass at umass next to a tree and amongst other acorns. The acorn is extremely hard except the top of the acorn is still hard but softer than the bottom.

I took this picture of leaves on a tree, they are a vibrant pink. They are not as soft as flower petals. They are rougher, also they have veins in them going down the middle that are thicker than the small veins extending the sides of the leaves.

This is a yellow flower, the inside or middle part of the flower us a dark orange color. The outer lining of the flower was softer than the insides of the leaves and was turning a brownish color which leads me to believe the flower is starting to die.
