I believe I saw a giant sea star today. I have attached 2 photos.

I observed a swainson's thrush near high rocks park.

I observed a red-headed woodpecker in the tree tops, photo attached.

I observed several Warbling Vireo at San Pedro Valley Park, a photo of one is attached.

I observed 2 Western Bluebirds at Rancho San Antonio Preserve.

I observed a wild turkey at Rancho San Antonio Preserve.

I observed 2 Blue-gray Gnatcatcher building a nest at Rancho San Antonio Preserve. A photo of one of the birds is attached.

I observed a Black-crowned Night Heron at Lake Merced near the Wooden Bridge.

I observed a Northern Rough-winged Swallow at Pescadero Marsh.

I was walking Pillar Point at low tide and believe this might be a Leather Star in the attached photo.

I observed an American Bittern in the tules at the Hwy 12 pond.

I observed several Brewer's Blackbirds gathering nesting material.

I observed several Great-tailed Grackle. They seemed to be gathering nesting material.

I observed several Wilson's Warblers at Lake Merced near the concrete bridge.

I observed a California Aligator Lizard at the Mokelumne River Fish Hatchery.

I observed 4 Dunlin at Pillar Point.

I observed small group of Brant at Pillar Point Harbor.

I observed 3 Short-billed Dowitchers feeding at Pillar Point.

I observed an Osprey perched in a tree feeding on a fish.

I observed a Great Horned Owl sleeping in a nest. There was at least one young owl in the nest as well, seen in the attached photo.

I observed a Reddish Egret at Bolsa Chica State Reserve. It was in the middle of the marsh, but observed it well with binoculars and photos at a distance.

I observed a Song Sparrow in Half Moon Bay.

I observed a Western Meadowlark on a fence.

I observed a Horned Lark in a pasture.

I observed a large number of American Robin feeding on a berry bush. A photo of one is attached.
